Home Ground: Ayrshire Park
About the Club
Boambee Football Club was established in 1981. The land that has become Boambee’s home ground of Ayrshire Park was donated by the Hull-Moody family in the late 1970′s to the Coffs Harbour City Council for community recreational use and after much work by the local soccer community the ground was established as the home of Boambee Football Club.
Boambee is now a strong community based club that is well represented in both male and female junior competitions offering a true path for our junior player base.
During more recent years the club has been crowned NCF Club of the Year on numerous occasions, and has had an impressive list of senior players take out major awards at the NCF presentation evenings. Our senior women’s and men’s teams have been consistently successful over the years.
We pride ourselves on building our junior player base around respect, encouragement and inclusiveness. Our success is measured by the pride our members take in the club.
Our First Division Men finished the inaugural 2020 season of CPL North as Major Premiers.
Head Coach Troy Hearfield
Troy’s football experience spans across 135 A-league games including 2 A-league Championships. Throughout his 11 years of playing high level football I have been coached by the biggest names in Australian Football such as Steve O’Connor (AIS), Ange Postecoglou, Graham Arnold (AUS/CCM) and Ricky Herbert (Phoenix).
I bring to the squad professionalism and a wealth of footballing knowledge. My personal goal this season is to improve individual technique with a focus on discipline and working hard together as a team. With that, good things will come.
Captain Mitchell Brewster
This Mitchell’s first year as captain and he is relishing the season ahead.
“I have the honour of captaining the Boambee Bombers for the 2021 season. Having tasted success in recent years, I am looking forward to working with new coach Troy Hearfield in pursuit of the Club’s first Coastal Premier League title,” said Mitchell.
