About the Club
Coffs Coast Tigers Football club, formerly know as Westlawn Tigers was established on the Coffs Coast in 1977. After playing at York St and Jetty oval they finally found their home in Polwarth Dr. Situated in the beautiful hills of West Coffs Harbour for the past 20 years, the club boasts some of the best facilities in the North Coast Zone. With lighting upgrades currently underway, the club will include 2 playing pitches with LED lighting, changerooms and a fully licensed canteen. The club offers a fully inclusive and positive playing experience to males and females, ranging from 5years to adults. We offer diversity and acceptance to all nationalities and players of all abilities. We are a family friendly club and are excited to offer a pathway to play at the highest level, through our acceptance into the Coastal League Competition. With a strong group of young players coming through the ranks into our senior squads in recent years, the club is excited to build on its strengths and are looking forward to seeing what the future offers to football across the zone.
Head Coach Felipe Barrera
Born in Peru but migrated to Australia as toddler. Played most of my football in Sydney but moved to Coffs Harbour in 2000 to raise my family. Played Premier League till 2019 and coached several junior teams until 2018 when I took over as the Premier league Coach for the Coffs Coast Tigers.
My passion for football is like a religion and probably a result of my Latin American background and I am a huge supported of Sydney FC. The training philosophy
to my players is “ work hard, be discipled and do the simple things

I have had the privilege of holding the captaincy for my 3rd season. I am the current centre back defender however have spent a number of years in many positions within the team. The Tigers have been an established club for over 40 years and have had a long and successful history on the North Coast, and to be part of that has been nothing but a good thing, and to be able to have the opportunity to captain a club I have been with for so long is a privilege.
