About the Club

Port Saints FC is a proud community oriented football club based at Peter Martino Field on Findlay Avenue, Port Macquarie. We cater for ages 5 years and upwards, promoting the fun and enjoyment of the beautiful game of football. We welcome new and old players to our club, and expect all our members to uphold our club values of Fairness and Equity, Respect for Others, and Good Sportsmanship.

Our club was formed in 1980 and was one of the driving forces promoting female junior football participation in the Football Mid North Coast Zone. The club’s focus is on delivering the best opportunity for our members to learn and play football, and our committee are continuing to improve the experience for all.

Port Saints FC is very appreciative of the many local businesses that through their generous sponsorship help us to reduce the cost to our members and allow the club to fund better equipment and service for our members. Our major sponsors include St. Agnes Parish Education, Your Discount Chemist, Phyx You Physiotherapy, EyeQ Optometrists, HEM Real Estate, Nashy’s Pix, Tacking Point Tavern, Charles Sturt University, and many others.

Head Coach Darrell Pascoe

Port Saints FC is proud to announce the return of our First Grade Coach Darrell Pascoe. 2020 will see Darrell leading the club into the inaugural season of the Coastal Premier League competition. Darrell is a father of 3 with a long history of coaching, and says he is excited to be taking the reins again and is looking to build on last season’s promising campaign.

The challenges of this year’s Coastal Premier League competition will be a great test for the lads and Darrell believe’s they are not only ready for it, but excited about showing what they can do. “Our focus will be on enjoying our football while being a competitive opponent for other sides.” Port Saints supporters should be excited by the balance of this year’s squad, the club has retained a good mix of experienced players combined with some very exciting younger players.

Captain Michael Finlayson

The captain for Port Saints FC’s first grade team is previous Newcastle Jets Youth and Broadmeadow Magic player Michael Finlayson. “I’m really looking forward to a new challenge this year with the coastal league. Last year was my first in the mid north coast and the level was really high. I fully expect this year to be another step up. I think the boys will be extremely competitive as we have a good mix of experience and exciting youth talent.”
